Space optimization will continue to be an important factor in all the markets that SencorpWhite services. With limited budgets and no new plant construction on the horizon, companies are looking to maximize existing floor space. Horizontal and vertical carousels and Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs) not only save space but improve productivity with the product being brought to the picker. These vertical storage capabilities use a small footprint with up to 50 feet of automated vertical storage
In addition, SencorpWhite’s automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) store and manage tooling and small parts closer to the point of use on the manufacturing floor, improving productivity, traceability, and throughput.
By enabling storage and retrieval closer to where it is used, SencorpWhite cuts down on time for tooling changeover, parts loading, tool loss or damage, and other key tasks that are typically time-consuming and labor-intensive.
For a thermoforming line, a vertical carousel system can improve tooling changeover speed. In some cases, it improves changeover time by up to 30%, while also limiting turnaround time between production runs. Tooling can be securely stored and quickly and easily accessed from White carousels.
In a pouch sealing line, the MicroVert or MediVert vertical carousel can be combined with the CleanRoom Connect™ vertical carousel to securely transport materials in and out of a clean room, and store and manage inventory in a controlled environment.
In a hospital, the Distributed Inventory model provides secure storage, accurate distribution, and automatic inventory reorder by putting the burden of managing inventory into the hands of suppliers, not staff. Our Will Call Rx™ provides a complete turn-key pharmacy distribution system that meets HIPA requirements by controlling prescription access between the time a pharmacist fills and the attendant dispenses the prescription to a patient.
