CeraPak
CeraPak™ sealers are designed for a wide variety of package seals, including front-face, fold-over card, and plastic-to-plastic for consumer packaged goods, medical devices, specialty food, and pharmaceutical package sealing applications. These purpose-built systems include fully automated product loading, collating, cartoning, and case packing.
For blister pack sealing, the CeraPak can handle single or double blister packs. A blister package includes a cavity and lid. The cavity is typically thermoformed plastic, and the lid is typically paper, paperboard, plastic, or aluminum. Heat and pressure activate an adhesive coating on the blister card. The CeraPak can handle blister packs with push-through or peelable lids. For clamshell packaging, PVC and PET are currently the two most popular materials. The packages can be secured via snap-fit, thermal or adhesive seal, mechanical fasteners, or sliding wrapper.
CeraPak systems are ideally suited to meet industry trends for lower cost packaging materials, process automation, quick changeover to handle shorter runs, and increased throughput.
