Buyer/Planner

Purpose of the Role:

Performs any combination of following tasks to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity as well as managing inventory levels in regards to outsourcing manufactured parts. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Sources and outsources make parts to outside suppliers per capacity requirements.
  • Coordinates production planning workflow for products.
  • Reviews the monthly build plan and creates/schedules work orders to load the manufacturing floor to best utilize production work cell equipment and resources, based on material availability.
  • Works closely with the materials management team to execute priorities, monitor progress, ensure timely/accurate data entry transactions and to revise build schedules as necessary.
  • Determines component and sub-assembly requirements to meet production build plan. Submits needed requirements to the purchasing team to order and/or expedite required goods.
  • Buys raw material for production and facilitates outsourcing as required including quoting and purchasing functions related to outsourcing. 
  • Collaborates with Shop Foreman and Master Scheduler to determine optimal utilization of production capacities and to resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Works with the materials team to research and remedy inventory errors resulting from missing and incorrect work order transactions.
  • Monitors identifies, and reports all incorrect product structures (BoM’s and Routings) to ensure correction via engineering change control procedures.
  • Reviews existing planning systems to initiate continuous improvement activities to improve the efficiency of planning, production reporting, scheduling, and material flow processes.
  • Understand and manage risks to minimize the impact on the production schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualification requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management/Supply Chain Management or a related field and four years of professional planning experience.
  • APICS Certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for preparing and presenting reports.
  • Previous experience using ERP software and high-level MS Excel experience to support production planning, capacity planning, and material requirements.
  • High-level MS Excel, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, & PIVOT Table experience
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques are a plus.

Purpose of the Role:

Performs any combination of following tasks to ensure customer and vendor accounts are serviced and accurately maintained:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for data entry including vendor invoices, order entry, and billing

Field Service Technician

OVERVIEW  

Responsible for completing preventive maintenance and repairs on SencorpWhite material and handling equipment installed at various sites within the assigned region. Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve. Must be customer-focused and project a professional image for SencorpWhite. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Alongside a Sr Field Service Engineer:
  • Learn to Analyze machine malfunctions. 
  • Learn to Troubleshoot solutions on site and remotely.

Sales Coordinator

OVERVIEW

Coordinates proposals, order entry, warranty, contracts and scheduling for Customer Service & Support department.   

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborates with CSS Sales Team on all proposals, including support contracts, upgrades/modifications, and billable service.
  • Produces proposals and pricing for customers in support of CSS sales.

Machinist / CNC Lathe Operator

Summary:

Possesses the skills to set up, adjust and operate cnc & manual lathes as well as mills and particular types of machine tools. Can perform diversified machining operations, having tolerance and finish specifications requiring a general knowledge of machining practices and techniques.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • The Project Manager is the primary customer technical and business contact from purchase order through final sign off.
  • Define and communicate project scope internally and externally.
  • Monitor and document all internal or external changes. 
  • Provide customer with cost estimate and schedule change for any change order. 
  • Manage change order process internally. 
  • Schedule timely project kick off, status, and post-mortem meetings.

Purpose of the Role:

Maintain cost accumulation systems in order to analyze business expenditures and advise on improving efficiency, and reduce financial waste.

Mechanical Engineer I

BASIC FUNCTION 

Responsible for creating mechanical assemblies, part designs, and detail drawings to support project initiatives. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Work to customer specifications in designing automated storage equipment.
  • Identify changes to automated storage equipment that meet customer specifications. 
  • Produce designs that meet project budget and schedule. 
  • Produce SolidWorks® 3D assembly and part models.

  • Work with VP of Engineering and/or Senior Engineers in documenting Standard Work Practices.
  • Work on special projects or unplanned tasks assigned by the VP of Engineering as required, in a timely and efficient manner. 

SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES DESIRED: 

  • Possess a self-starter attitude, with excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Be able to work independently or in a team work environment.
  • Possess the ability to present work at design reviews.
  • Possess the ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrate a proficiency of machine design principles. 
  • Possess the ability to design sheet metal parts, be familiar with bending and welding processes and documentation.
  • Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time.  

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED AND PREFERRED: 

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent of 7-10 years of related experience
  • Major in Machine Design desirable. 
  • 2-5 years of engineering experience.
  • Proficient in MS office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
  • 3D CAD Skills, SolidWorks preferred.
